My experience at the McDonough, Georgia Arrowhead Clinic location has been AWESOME! The Ladies on Staff are welcoming, friendly and have been very attentive to me. After getting adjustments/treatment from them I leave there feeling less stiff and achy than when I got there. I would recommend everyone visit for an adjustment often. They'd be surprised at how it relieves pain and stiffness and helps the body relax and it calms the mind.

Questions About Collision Injury Care

How can treatment help reduce pain after a collision?

Corrective exercises can support movement and reduce strain after a collision when the exam supports them. Arrowhead Clinic Chiropractor McDonough first reviews pain, range of motion, and injury history. The plan may also include manual therapy, spinal decompression, or postural education. Results vary, so our team monitors your response and adjusts care when the findings change.

What happens during the first evaluation?

The first evaluation includes a new patient intake, health history, and physical exam. Our team asks when symptoms began and checks movement, tenderness, and pain patterns. X-rays may be considered if clinically indicated. You’ll receive an explanation of the findings and available care options before a personalized treatment plan is discussed.

Which records should I bring after a crash?

Accident details, health records, and current medication information can help our team understand your situation. Bring any records you already have, but you don’t need an attorney before discussing care. A clear symptom list also helps. Include when pain began, what worsens it, and whether symptoms affect sleep, work, or daily movement.

When should I ask about spinal decompression?

Spinal decompression should be discussed after an exam identifies a possible fit for the method. It isn’t suitable for every injury or symptom pattern. Our team reviews your history, movement, and pain before explaining this option. Tell us about leg pain, numbness, weakness, or worsening symptoms so the care decision reflects the full picture.

Why does pain monitoring matter during recovery?

Pain monitoring shows how symptoms change as your care plan progresses. Record where pain occurs, which movements affect it, and whether daily tasks become easier or harder. Our team uses that information during progress checks. Report severe or changing symptoms promptly, because some conditions need medical assessment beyond chiropractic care.

What makes the cost of this care change?

The exam findings, selected services, and treatment plan affect the cost of collision-related care. Manual therapy and spinal decompression may involve different clinical decisions, while follow-up care depends on your response. Our team explains the estimate during consultation. Free estimates are available, but no amount is set until the needed services are reviewed.
