Chiropractic Adjustment for joint stiffness and injury care

Chiropractic adjustment focuses on joint movement when stiffness, pain, or an injury affects daily activity. The work may involve the spine and nearby joints, based on the health history and exam.

This page fits people seeking focused care for back pain, neck pain, whiplash, or muscle tension. The main decision is whether the symptoms call for an exam and treatment plan, or for another type of medical evaluation.

Our team also works with people recovering from car accidents, motorcycle accidents, truck accidents, slip-and-fall injuries, workers’ compensation injuries, and sports injuries. Care plans are explained in plain language, and results vary by person.

  • Bring a clear account of when the pain or stiffness began.
  • Share details about any car accident, workplace injury, fall, or sports injury.
  • Ask how the exam findings connect with the proposed care plan.
  • Tell the team about symptoms that affect movement, sleep, work, or daily activity.

After many, many visits due to a recent car accident, I can say this place feels like home. Kathryn at the front desk and the entire staff are always so welcoming and awesome! Dr. Keating is fantastic! She is knowledgable and explains everything to a Tee. She listens to your concerns and adjust accordingly, and does not pressure you into unnecessary adjustments. This will be the only place I go for adjustments in the future. Keep up the excellent job Arrowhead McDonough!

Questions about adjustment care for pain and injuries

Before scheduling the visit, what conditions may improve with chiropractic adjustment before the work order is finalized?

Joint stiffness may improve when limited movement contributes to back pain, neck pain, or muscle tension. Chiropractic care may also support recovery after whiplash, car accidents, sports injuries, and workplace injuries. Individual response differs. Our team reviews your history and exam findings before discussing a personalized treatment plan.

When reviewing site readiness, who provides chiropractic adjustment for accident injuries as part of the intake checklist?

Arrowhead Clinic Chiropractor McDonough provides chiropractic adjustment for accident injuries and related pain. Dr. Robbyn Keating, DC, leads the McDonough office. Her education includes a Bachelor of Science degree from Lindenwood University and a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic.

What happens during the first visit for back or neck pain?

The first visit includes a new patient intake, health history, and exam. The team asks how symptoms began and checks movement in affected areas. X-rays may be used if clinically indicated. You then receive an explanation of the findings and the care options that fit the discussion.

Can I discuss cost before starting care?

Free estimates are available before care begins. The estimate depends on the symptoms, injury history, areas assessed, and services discussed. Our team explains the estimate and answers questions about the proposed care. No owner-provided price applies to every patient, so the visit details matter.

How soon should I seek care after an accident for Chiropractic Adjustment?

Seek an evaluation when pain, stiffness, or limited movement follows an accident. Whiplash symptoms can involve the neck, back, or nearby muscles. Our team can discuss the injury history and available care options. Serious or worsening symptoms need medical attention before chiropractic treatment is considered.

What should I bring to an injury consultation?

Bring the details you have about the accident or injury and a list of current symptoms. Medical records can help when available, but you can discuss your situation without an attorney. Our team records the history, checks movement, and explains the next care step.

Does care include treatment for workers’ compensation injuries?

Workers’ compensation injuries are among the conditions our team treats. The intake records how the injury happened and which symptoms affect movement or work. Share any claim information you have, then ask how the injury details fit the proposed chiropractic care plan.
