Trigger Point Therapy in Morrow for Focused Muscle Pain

Trigger point therapy addresses tight muscle areas that hurt when pressed or limit normal movement. We use a health history and exam to connect the tender spot with the injury, activity, or pain pattern.

The key decision is whether focused soft tissue care fits your symptoms. A care plan may include trigger point work alongside chiropractic treatment, but severe or unusual symptoms may need medical evaluation first. We explain the findings before care begins, so you understand what we are treating and why.

  • Identify the tender muscle area and related pain pattern.
  • Review the injury history and current movement limits.
  • Discuss whether soft tissue therapy fits the care plan.
  • Explain the next treatment step in plain language.

Edit: still first class treatment each visit! Love that my wellbeing is so important to y’all! Edit: Have been multiple times now and the service is as good as the first time! Great customer service. Great atmosphere. I was greeted immediately upon arrival. The young lady at the front (Catherine) was very professional. When I was taken back by was helped by another young lady, Courtney, and seen by Dr Keating took time to find out what was hurting and did an amazing job helping to fix it. I felt that everyone there treated it as more than “just a job” and treated the patients as more than just a number.

Questions about focused muscle treatment

Before work begins, which areas commonly receive trigger point therapy when reviewing project requirements?

Neck muscles commonly receive trigger point therapy, along with shoulder, gluteal, and calf muscles. Arrowhead Clinic Chiropractor McDonough checks tenderness and movement before choosing an area. Treatment focuses on the muscle spot linked to your symptoms. The exam also helps us decide whether soft tissue care fits your broader chiropractic plan.

How does the first visit address a painful muscle spot?

The first visit reviews your symptoms, health history, and movement before treatment starts. We ask how the pain began and check the tender area. Focused pressure may follow when the findings support it. The team then explains the care plan, so you know which area we will treat and why.

What changes the cost of treatment for one muscle area?

The assessment, affected area, injury history, and care included in the visit shape the cost. We provide free estimates and explain the expected service before treatment. A focused muscle concern may need a different assessment from pain linked to an accident. Ask our team for details based on your symptoms.

When should muscle pain receive a medical evaluation first?

Severe, unusual, or rapidly changing symptoms should receive medical evaluation before trigger point therapy. We ask about the injury and check movement during the intake. Tell us about numbness, weakness, or other concerning changes. Our team can explain whether chiropractic care fits or whether another evaluation should come first.

Why might trigger point therapy be paired with spinal care?

Trigger point therapy may be paired with spinal care when muscle tension and joint movement affect the same complaint. Soft tissue work addresses the muscle area, while chiropractic treatment addresses movement in the spine or related joints. We use the examination findings to decide whether both belong in a personalized care plan.

What should I bring after an accident before treatment?

Bring any available injury details, medical records, and insurance information after an accident. Our intake also covers what happened, where symptoms began, and how movement feels now. An attorney is not required before discussing care. We use the information you share to explain the available chiropractic options.
