Neck Pain Treatment for warning signs in Forest Park

This service is for people whose neck pain affects daily movement, follows an accident, or appears with symptoms that need careful review. The main decision is whether chiropractic care fits the findings or whether another medical evaluation should come first.

A new patient intake covers your health history, symptoms, and injury details. We may consider X-rays if clinically indicated, then explain the report of findings and proposed care. The work is more focused than a general wellness visit because the goal is to connect your symptoms with a safe next step.

Balance problems deserve special attention. Arm weakness, hand numbness, severe headache, or loss of coordination also change the conversation. We don't treat warning signs casually, and we explain when urgent medical care is more suitable.

  • Note when the neck pain began and whether an accident caused it.
  • List changes in balance, strength, sensation, headaches, or coordination.
  • Bring relevant health information if you have it.
  • Ask what the exam found and what the proposed care involves.

Process

How we carry out focused neck pain care

1

Record symptoms and injury details

The new patient intake covers your health history, neck pain, accident details, and related symptoms such as headaches or numbness.

2

Examine movement and warning signs

We review neck movement and ask about strength, sensation, balance, headaches, and coordination. X-rays may be considered if clinically indicated.

3

Explain the report of findings

The report of findings connects the examination with the symptoms you described. We answer questions before care begins.

4

Set the personalized care plan

The proposed plan may include chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapy, and progress re-examination as appropriate.

What you get from a focused neck pain visit

A plan tied to your symptoms

The treatment plan follows the intake and examination, so the care discussed relates to your neck pain and injury details. We explain the findings in plain language.

Care for accident injuries

Our team works with people recovering from car, motorcycle, truck, slip-and-fall, sports, and workers’ compensation injuries. We review how the injury happened before discussing adjustments or soft tissue therapy.

A clear limit on chiropractic care

Neck pain care is not the right first step for every warning sign. Severe or worsening symptoms, major weakness, or serious coordination changes may need urgent medical evaluation before chiropractic treatment.

The staff here is beyond amazing. I love the freedom I have had from the beginning of my treatments to pace myself with whatever exercises I wanted to do on my own. It feels good to have been in a no pressure zone and to completely have my injuries cured by the end of my treatment. It’s bittersweet to be finishing up my treatments today. Everybody makes you feel like family instead of a number. The fact that they can remember each patient by name is so amazing to me. I loved it here☺️

The staff at the Hwy 20 facility in McDonough are very friendly. I felt welcomed when I called before starting treatment. When I arrive the first day for my first day the paper work was alot but I was incorraged to take my time. The people who work at this facility made me feel like family not just a patient. My treatment was not rushed. I was incorraged to go at my own pace. The facility is clean and well maintained. The Doctor was very professional and friendly. She listened to my complaints and concerns. She adjusted my treatment to my pain level. She did not rush to get me out of her office. She is patient and truly concerned about her patients. She and her staff are good people who show how they are concerned about the people who use their facilty. They are patient and welcoming. I do recommend their service to others in need.

Dr. Keating, Catherine, Layla & Courtney were all a pleasure during my treatment. They are extremely flexible with time scheduling and are always in contagious great moods. The facility is clean, and always well prepped. I feel way better than when I started my treatment. Definitely would recommend.

Questions about focused neck pain care

Who provides neck pain care for Forest Park patients?

Arrowhead Clinic Chiropractor McDonough provides neck pain care for Forest Park patients. Dr. Robbyn Keating, DC, leads the McDonough office. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Lindenwood University and a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic. The team discusses accident injuries, pain concerns, and available care options during a consultation.

What should I bring to my first visit after a crash?

Health information and accident details help us assess neck pain after a crash. Bring any records you have, along with a list of symptoms and medicines. An accident report or attorney is not required before discussing care. The intake focuses on what happened, what changed, and which concerns need review.

How does the first neck pain visit work?

The first visit begins with a new patient intake and health history. The examination then reviews movement and related symptoms, while X-rays may be considered if clinically indicated. We explain the report of findings before discussing a personalized plan. You can ask questions about adjustments, soft tissue therapy, and follow-up care.

When is chiropractic care the wrong first step for neck pain?

Urgent medical evaluation is the right first step for severe or rapidly worsening symptoms. Major weakness, severe headache, or serious coordination changes can require medical attention before chiropractic care. Our team asks about warning signs during the intake. That review helps determine whether adjustments or another form of care fits the situation.

Which part of the visit changes the estimate?

The examination findings and services included in the care plan affect the estimate. Clinically indicated imaging, the type of treatment discussed, and injury-related documentation may also matter. We explain the proposed services before treatment begins. Free estimates are available, so you can ask questions about the expected cost.
