Personal Injury Treatment for Forest Park Accident Injuries

Personal injury care starts with the event that caused your symptoms. A car accident, workplace injury, fall, motorcycle crash, truck crash, or sports injury can affect the neck, back, shoulder, hip, or other areas.

The buyer decision is whether the symptoms need a focused injury evaluation. Our team reviews your health history, performs an exam, and explains the findings in plain language. X-rays are considered when clinically indicated.

This page is for people who need care after an injury and want to record symptoms clearly. It isn't a substitute for emergency medical care when symptoms are severe or sudden.

  • Record where numbness, pain, or swelling appears.
  • Note movements and daily tasks that have changed.
  • Bring available medical records or accident details.
  • Ask how the exam connects to a personalized treatment plan.

Process

Steps We Use to Review an Injury

1

Record the injury history

We begin with a new patient intake. Share what happened, when symptoms began, and which daily tasks changed.

2

Check movement and symptoms

A health history and exam help us review pain, movement limits, swelling, and affected areas. X-rays may be considered when clinically indicated.

3

Explain the findings

We provide a report of findings in clear language. You can ask how the findings relate to your symptoms and care options.

4

Set a personalized care plan

We discuss a personalized treatment plan that may include chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapy, or another suitable method.

5

Review progress

A progress re-examination helps us discuss changes in symptoms and movement as care continues.

How We Approach Injury Care Decisions

Symptom records guide the exam

Your notes about pain, movement, swelling, and daily tasks help shape the health history and exam. Start with what changed after the injury, then share what makes each symptom better or worse.

Treatment gets explained clearly

Our patient-focused chiropractic team explains findings and care options in plain language. You can ask how an adjustment, soft tissue therapy, or another method relates to your symptoms.

Credentials support patient care

Dr. Robbyn Keating, DC, earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Lindenwood University and a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic. She joined Arrowhead Clinic in 2016.

Know when this service is not enough

Chiropractic care is not the right first step for every serious injury. Severe symptoms, sudden loss of function, or a medical emergency require appropriate medical care before routine injury treatment.

The scope this service is meant to handle

A person in Forest Park may notice neck pain, back pain, or tingling after a collision, even when the first symptoms seem mild. We review the symptom record, perform an exam, and explain whether chiropractic care fits the concern. A medical referral may be needed when the findings point beyond routine chiropractic treatment.

The staff here is beyond amazing. I love the freedom I have had from the beginning of my treatments to pace myself with whatever exercises I wanted to do on my own. It feels good to have been in a no pressure zone and to completely have my injuries cured by the end of my treatment. It’s bittersweet to be finishing up my treatments today. Everybody makes you feel like family instead of a number. The fact that they can remember each patient by name is so amazing to me. I loved it here☺️

The staff at the Hwy 20 facility in McDonough are very friendly. I felt welcomed when I called before starting treatment. When I arrive the first day for my first day the paper work was alot but I was incorraged to take my time. The people who work at this facility made me feel like family not just a patient. My treatment was not rushed. I was incorraged to go at my own pace. The facility is clean and well maintained. The Doctor was very professional and friendly. She listened to my complaints and concerns. She adjusted my treatment to my pain level. She did not rush to get me out of her office. She is patient and truly concerned about her patients. She and her staff are good people who show how they are concerned about the people who use their facilty. They are patient and welcoming. I do recommend their service to others in need.

Questions About Accident Injury Care

How soon should I seek care after a car accident for Personal Injury Treatment?

Car accident symptoms should be discussed with a healthcare provider as soon as you notice them. Neck pain, back pain, headaches, or reduced movement can affect daily tasks. Our team reviews your injury history and exam findings before discussing chiropractic care. Severe symptoms or sudden loss of function require urgent medical attention.

What happens during the first injury evaluation?

The first injury evaluation includes a health history, symptom review, and physical exam.

  • We record the accident or injury details.
  • We review pain and movement limits.
  • We consider X-rays when clinically indicated.
  • We explain the findings and care options.

Clear explanations help you understand the recommended next step.

Do I need an attorney before starting care?

An attorney is not required before discussing chiropractic care with our team. Bring any records or accident details you have, but the intake can begin with your health history and symptoms. We explain available care options in plain language. Legal questions about a personal injury claim should go to an attorney.

Which symptoms need urgent medical attention?

Severe or sudden symptoms need urgent medical attention before routine chiropractic care. Seek prompt medical help for sudden loss of function, major weakness, or symptoms that feel life-threatening. Our team can discuss ordinary injury concerns after appropriate medical evaluation. Chiropractic care does not replace emergency treatment.

Can workers’ compensation injuries receive this type of care?

Workers’ compensation injuries are among the injury concerns we treat. Share the work event, affected body areas, and tasks that became difficult. Our team reviews your history and exam before discussing a personalized treatment plan. Bring available claim or medical records if you have them, though an attorney is not required to discuss care.

How do I know whether chiropractic care fits my injury?

The health history and exam help determine whether chiropractic care fits your injury. We review the cause, symptom pattern, movement limits, and daily impact. A report of findings explains the care options. Serious symptoms, major trauma, or findings outside chiropractic care call for medical assessment and possible referral.
