Myofascial Release Therapy for Jackson Patients

Myofascial release therapy suits people who feel tightness, pulling, or reduced motion around an affected area. Scar tissue, muscle guarding, and postural strain may all shape the exam.

The key decision is fit. We review your health history, examine movement, and check whether soft tissue work belongs in your personalized treatment plan. This page focuses on that decision, not a one-size-fits-all treatment path.

Our team also treats accident-related injuries, whiplash, neck pain, back pain, workers’ compensation injuries, and sports injuries. A free consultation gives you space to discuss how your symptoms began and which chiropractic care options may fit.

  • Describe where tightness or restricted motion affects daily movement.
  • Tell us whether the concern followed an accident, sport, work injury, or another event.
  • Expect a health history and physical exam before care is selected.
  • Ask how soft tissue therapy fits with the rest of your chiropractic plan.

Service Overview

Myofascial Release Therapy is a hands-on soft tissue method that works on fascia and muscle areas linked with tension or limited motion.

How We Approach This Soft Tissue Care

A focused fit check

The right starting point is the area, symptom pattern, and injury history. We assess those details before choosing hands-on care. This service is not the right job for every symptom, especially when the concern needs a different medical evaluation.

Care explained in plain language

We explain what we find and how soft tissue therapy connects to your care plan. You can ask questions about pressure, movement, and the role of chiropractic treatment.

Personalized care planning

Our patient-focused chiropractic team builds care around your findings instead of using the same approach for every person. Progress can be reviewed as your symptoms and movement change.

Process

How We Perform This Soft Tissue Work

1

Review the injury and symptoms

We begin with a new patient intake and health history. You explain when the tightness began, where it affects movement, and what brought you to care.

2

Check movement and soft tissue

We examine movement, muscle tension, and the affected area. X-rays may be considered when clinically indicated, while the hands-on exam guides soft tissue care.

3

Explain the care fit

We share the findings in plain language and explain whether myofascial release therapy fits your concerns. The plan may include soft tissue therapy with other chiropractic methods.

4

Apply focused hands-on care

We use focused pressure on the selected soft tissue areas. Pressure and treatment areas follow the findings from your exam.

5

Review movement and next steps

We discuss how the treated area feels and how movement has changed. Your care plan can be reviewed as your symptoms and exam findings develop.

Have been a patient for 2 years. Though I have not fully recovered to my normal self (due to back to back episodes). I absolutely love this place. Staff is super friendly, office is always clean and Dr K (partnered Doctors and nurses as well) are always welcoming and patient. There are times when I am unable to make my appointment and they will squeeze me in asap. My Children loved it also (the roller tables were +their favorite part...lol...they do feel nice). So if you are reading this review. Don't hesitate on going to this location. It is truly worth it and you will be in good hands... trust!!!!

As soon as I walked in the entire building lit up with light ! 💡☀️ Catherine, Laila, and Courtney are some real nice, energetic, sweet ladies who welcomed me in with open arms. There has not been a day where they did not make me feel at home. 🥰 🥲 I may be overly dramatic, but if they are not there I would prefer not to be there either.

Questions About This Soft Tissue Care

Before scheduling the visit, which concerns may myofascial release therapy address on a standard service call?

Scar tissue, muscle tightness, restricted motion, and postural strain are concerns myofascial release therapy may address. The care starts with a health history and exam, because the same symptom can have different causes. We then explain whether focused soft tissue work fits your plan. Individual response differs, and care doesn't promise a specific result.

How do I know if this treatment fits my pain?

Your health history and hands-on exam decide whether this treatment fits your pain. We review the location, movement limits, injury history, and muscle tension before selecting care. A free consultation gives you time to discuss your concern and understand the recommended next step. The service may not fit symptoms that need another type of medical evaluation.

What happens during the first evaluation for Myofascial Release Therapy?

The first evaluation reviews your health history, symptoms, movement, and affected soft tissue. It may include a new patient intake, physical exam, and X-rays if clinically indicated.

  • Describe when symptoms began.
  • Identify movements that feel limited.
  • Discuss accident, work, sport, or daily activity details.

We explain the findings before hands-on care begins.

Can this care follow a car accident?

Yes, myofascial release therapy may form part of care after a car accident when the exam supports it. We review whiplash, neck pain, back pain, and soft tissue tension during the intake. Patients can also discuss personal injury recovery and workers’ compensation concerns with our team. The treatment plan follows the findings, not the accident label alone.

What changes the estimate for this treatment?

The care plan, exam findings, affected areas, and related chiropractic services shape the estimate. We provide free estimates and explain the proposed care before treatment begins. The office can also discuss available chiropractic care options during your consultation. No fixed amount applies to every patient because each plan follows the reported concern and clinical findings.

When should I ask about soft tissue care after an injury?

Ask about soft tissue care when tightness, pulling, or limited movement continues after an injury. We review the injury history and symptoms before recommending hands-on work. Severe or changing symptoms may need medical attention first. Patients in Jackson can call the office to discuss the injury and available chiropractic care options.

Does deep tissue massage provide the same care?

Deep tissue massage and myofascial release therapy are different services with different treatment settings. Our approach uses a chiropractic exam to guide focused soft tissue work and connect it with an injury or movement concern. We don't present massage as a substitute for an evaluation. Ask the office which available care option fits your symptoms.
