Work Injury Treatment in Jackson for job-related pain

Work injury treatment helps workers address pain that follows lifting, falls, repetitive tasks, or sudden impact. Our focus is the injury and how it affects movement, sleep, work duties, and daily activity.

The first decision is whether chiropractic care fits your symptoms. We review your history and exam findings, then explain a personalized treatment plan. X-rays may be considered when clinically indicated, while urgent signs may call for medical care outside chiropractic treatment.

  • Bring any workplace injury records, prior imaging, and a list of current symptoms.
  • Describe when the pain began and which work tasks make it worse.
  • Ask how the care plan relates to your work duties and daily movement.
  • Follow workplace reporting rules and any restrictions given by your employer or clinician.

My experience at the McDonough, Georgia Arrowhead Clinic location has been AWESOME! The Ladies on Staff are welcoming, friendly and have been very attentive to me. After getting adjustments/treatment from them I leave there feeling less stiff and achy than when I got there. I would recommend everyone visit for an adjustment often. They'd be surprised at how it relieves pain and stiffness and helps the body relax and it calms the mind.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Arrowhead. I’ve been coming on and off for 5+ years and Dr. K always gets me set right. I love that it’s a female chiro because you need to be at ease and comfort if the adjustment is going to work right. No hassle, no waits, the staff is always welcoming and remembers me even after being away for a year or more. I’ll never go anywhere else if I can help it. I can’t say enough good stuff about them!!

Questions about workplace injury care

What should I do first after a workplace injury?

Follow restrictions, report the injury, and seek an evaluation for symptoms that affect movement. Arrowhead Clinic Chiropractor McDonough reviews your health history, work task, and reported symptoms during intake. Bring any available workplace records and describe what makes the pain better or worse. Severe weakness or loss of bladder or bowel control needs urgent medical attention.

Which records should I bring to my first visit?

Workplace records, prior imaging, and a current medication list can help us understand your injury. Bring the date of the event, the task involved, and any restrictions you received. A complete history supports a more useful exam. You don’t need to wait for an attorney before discussing your chiropractic care needs.

How does the first evaluation address job-related back pain?

The first evaluation connects your reported back pain with the work event, task, and movement limits. We review your health history and perform a chiropractic exam. X-rays may be considered when clinically indicated. The report of findings then explains the care options and whether the symptoms fit chiropractic treatment.

When is another type of care needed?

Another type of care may be needed for severe or urgent symptoms outside chiropractic treatment. Loss of bladder or bowel control, major weakness, or serious trauma requires prompt medical attention. Our team discusses these concerns during the evaluation. We won’t present chiropractic care as the right fit for every injury.

Why should I keep following work restrictions during care?

Work restrictions help limit activities that could worsen an injured area during recovery. Tell our team which tasks remain difficult, even if the pain changes from day to day. Your employer and treating clinicians guide those restrictions. We explain movement concerns, but we don’t replace workplace or medical instructions.

What changes the cost of care after a work injury?

The evaluation needs, symptoms, and recommended care influence the cost of workplace injury treatment. We explain the planned services before care begins and provide free estimates when applicable. Workers’ compensation questions may require details from your employer or claim. Discuss those details with our office so the available options are clear.
