Work injury treatment for Lovejoy workers

Work injury care helps people whose job has led to back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, sciatica, or other movement concerns. The work may follow a vehicle collision, lifting injury, repetitive strain, or slip injury.

The key decision is whether chiropractic care fits the injury and its current symptoms. We review the health history, examine the affected area, and discuss whether a personalized treatment plan makes sense. X-rays may be considered if clinically indicated.

A workers' compensation injury can involve more than pain relief. You may also need clear treatment explanations and records that match the care you receive. We explain each step so you understand what the visit covers and what happens next.

  • Describe when the pain began and which work activity caused it.
  • Bring any available injury, claim, or medical information to the intake.
  • Ask which symptoms need medical evaluation before chiropractic care begins.
  • Confirm how the examination and personalized treatment plan address your work injury.

My experience at the McDonough, Georgia Arrowhead Clinic location has been AWESOME! The Ladies on Staff are welcoming, friendly and have been very attentive to me. After getting adjustments/treatment from them I leave there feeling less stiff and achy than when I got there. I would recommend everyone visit for an adjustment often. They'd be surprised at how it relieves pain and stiffness and helps the body relax and it calms the mind.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Arrowhead. I’ve been coming on and off for 5+ years and Dr. K always gets me set right. I love that it’s a female chiro because you need to be at ease and comfort if the adjustment is going to work right. No hassle, no waits, the staff is always welcoming and remembers me even after being away for a year or more. I’ll never go anywhere else if I can help it. I can’t say enough good stuff about them!!

Questions about work injury care

Which details change the cost of care for a lifting injury?

The affected body area, examination needs, records reviewed, and recommended care influence the cost of a lifting injury visit. Free estimates are available before treatment decisions are made. Our team can explain what the estimate covers after learning about the injury, symptoms, and care concerns.

How should I prepare for a workers' compensation injury visit?

A workers' compensation visit starts more smoothly when you bring the injury details and available claim information.

  • Note when the pain began.
  • Describe the task or event involved.
  • Bring available medical records or claim documents.

You don't need an attorney before discussing your chiropractic care options with our team.

When should shoulder pain after a slip injury receive medical attention?

Shoulder pain needs medical attention when it follows severe trauma, loss of strength, major swelling, deformity, or symptoms that worsen quickly. Chiropractic care may fit some joint and soft tissue concerns after an examination. We review the fall and symptoms first, so serious conditions receive the right level of care.

Why does repetitive strain need an examination before treatment?

Repetitive strain can involve muscles, joints, nerves, or more than one body area. An examination helps connect the pain pattern with the work activity and guides the care plan. Our team discusses soft tissue therapy, chiropractic techniques, and other suitable options after reviewing your health history.

What should I confirm before agreeing to a care plan?

A care plan should state which body area it addresses, why the recommended method fits, and what each visit is meant to support. Ask about the findings, expected costs, and any records needed for a workers' compensation claim. Clear treatment explanations help you make an informed choice.
