About

How workplace injury care fits your recovery

Work injury treatment starts with the event, the symptoms, and the demands of your job. We ask what changed after the injury, which movements hurt, and how pain affects daily tasks. A new patient intake includes your health history and an exam. X-rays may be considered if clinically indicated. We then explain the findings and discuss a personalized treatment plan. Our focus is buyer fit and proper scoping. Chiropractic care may suit workers with musculoskeletal pain, restricted movement, whiplash, back pain, or sciatica. Severe injuries, loss of function, or symptoms that suggest a medical emergency need prompt medical evaluation. Bring any injury details you have, but you don't need an attorney before speaking with us. We can discuss your treatment needs and available chiropractic care options with our team.

Process

The steps from workplace injury to care

1

Describe the workplace injury

We ask when the injury happened, what movement caused it, and which symptoms appeared afterward. This gives the exam useful context.

2

Complete the health history and exam

We review your health history and examine areas linked to your pain. X-rays are considered if clinically indicated.

3

Review the findings

We explain what the exam shows and discuss how the injury may affect movement, work tasks, and daily activity.

4

Set a personalized care plan

We match care options to your condition, goals, and needs. We also explain what to expect before treatment begins.

5

Check progress during care

We compare your symptoms and movement over time. If your needs change, we revisit the care plan with you.

What to prepare before workplace injury care

A few details can help us understand the injury and plan your first visit.

  • Write down when the workplace injury happened and what you were doing.
  • List the symptoms you noticed first and any symptoms that appeared later.
  • Bring relevant medical records or imaging if you already have them.
  • Note which work tasks, movements, or positions increase your pain.
  • Prepare questions about care options, treatment goals, and the estimate.

I’ve been going to Arrowhead after my accident and honestly they’ve been really helpful. The staff is kind and they actually listen when I talk about my pain. They stay on top of my appointments and make sure I’m getting the treatment I need. It is a lot of visits at first, but I can tell they’re really trying to help me heal and keep everything documented. Overall, I appreciate how they’ve taken care of me during this process.

The staff at the Hwy 20 facility in McDonough are very friendly. I felt welcomed when I called before starting treatment. When I arrive the first day for my first day the paper work was alot but I was incorraged to take my time. The people who work at this facility made me feel like family not just a patient. My treatment was not rushed. I was incorraged to go at my own pace. The facility is clean and well maintained. The Doctor was very professional and friendly. She listened to my complaints and concerns. She adjusted my treatment to my pain level. She did not rush to get me out of her office. She is patient and truly concerned about her patients. She and her staff are good people who show how they are concerned about the people who use their facilty. They are patient and welcoming. I do recommend their service to others in need.

Questions about workplace injury care

Who provides work injury treatment in McDonough?

Arrowhead Clinic Chiropractor McDonough provides work injury treatment for workplace-related pain and injuries. Our team starts with a new patient intake, health history, and exam. We discuss symptoms such as back pain, neck pain, sciatica, and headaches. Then we explain available care options and create a plan around your condition, goals, and needs.

What should I bring to my first workplace injury visit?

Your injury details, symptom list, and relevant medical records can help us prepare for the first visit. Bring the date and cause of the injury, work tasks that increase pain, and any imaging you already have. An attorney isn't required before treatment discussions. We can review your needs and explain what information would help the intake.

Does workers' compensation cover chiropractic care?

Workers' compensation coverage depends on your claim, plan, and applicable approval rules. We can discuss your injury and available care options, but we don't state coverage or payment terms without reviewing the situation. Bring claim information or benefit details if you have them. Our team can explain which treatment questions to raise during the intake.

What changes the cost of workplace injury care?

The cost depends on the evaluation needs, care recommended, and services included in your plan. We don't publish a price for treatment because each workplace injury has a different clinical picture. Free estimates are available, and we explain care options before treatment. Ask our team to review the injury and discuss an estimate for your needs.

Can I start care without an attorney?

Yes, you can discuss chiropractic care without having an attorney first. Our team focuses on your injury, symptoms, health history, and treatment needs. An attorney may address legal questions, while we explain available care options. Bring any claim or medical information you have, but don't delay sharing important symptoms during the intake.

What happens if pain reaches my arm or leg?

Pain that travels into an arm or leg needs a focused review of the spine, movement, and related symptoms. We ask when the pain began and whether numbness, weakness, or changes in function appeared. Our exam helps guide the care discussion. Severe weakness or a serious injury requires prompt medical attention.

How soon should I seek care after a workplace injury?

You should seek an evaluation when workplace pain continues, limits movement, or affects your job tasks. Early details help us understand the injury pattern and your current function. We don't promise a treatment timeframe because each case differs. Call during office hours to discuss your symptoms and available chiropractic care.

When Customers Call Us About Work Injury Treatment

1

Back Pain After Repeated Lifting

Repeated lifting can strain the back and change how you bend, stand, or walk during work. The key detail is whether pain stays in the back or travels into a leg. Bring the task details and symptom pattern to your visit, then we can complete an intake and discuss an exam-based care plan.

2

Neck Pain After A Workplace Fall

A fall at work can leave neck pain, stiffness, or headaches that affect sleep and daily movement. The injury event and any change in arm strength matter during the first review. Write down what happened and bring related records if you have them, so our team can discuss the right next step.

3

Pain That Limits Work Tasks

Pain can make reaching, standing, sitting, or carrying harder even when the original injury seems minor. Your job demands help us understand the gap between symptoms and daily function.
