Work injury care for Morrow workers

Work injury treatment helps people who develop pain after lifting, falling, repetitive tasks, or an accident at work. We assess the health history and symptoms, then explain which chiropractic care options fit the situation.

The key decision is whether your symptoms need a chiropractic evaluation, another medical referral, or urgent care. Clients should bring any available workplace injury records and describe when symptoms began, what movement worsens them, and whether symptoms travel into an arm or leg.

  • Describe when the workplace injury happened and which symptoms appeared first.
  • Bring available workers' compensation or personal injury documents to the intake.
  • Tell the team about numbness, weakness, headaches, neck pain, or back pain.
  • Ask what the exam found and which care steps are recommended.

Process

How workplace injury care moves forward

1

Record the workplace injury

The intake records your health history, symptoms, work injury details, and current concerns.

2

Check movement and symptoms

The exam reviews the affected area and related movement. X-rays may be considered if clinically indicated.

3

Explain the findings

We discuss the report of findings in plain language and answer questions about the care options.

4

Set the care plan

A personalized treatment plan addresses the symptoms and methods that fit the exam.

5

Review progress

Follow-up visits review how symptoms and movement are changing, then guide the next care discussion.

How we approach workplace injury care

Start with the injury history

The first step links your symptoms to the workplace event, daily tasks, and movement limits. We explain what the exam shows before care begins.

Use a plan that fits the findings

Customers receive personalized care plans based on their symptoms and exam. We may discuss adjusting tables, soft tissue therapy, or other chiropractic methods when appropriate.

Know when care is not enough

Chiropractic care is not the right first step for every condition. Severe weakness, major trauma, or other urgent warning signs need medical attention before routine chiropractic care.

My experience at the McDonough, Georgia Arrowhead Clinic location has been AWESOME! The Ladies on Staff are welcoming, friendly and have been very attentive to me. After getting adjustments/treatment from them I leave there feeling less stiff and achy than when I got there. I would recommend everyone visit for an adjustment often. They'd be surprised at how it relieves pain and stiffness and helps the body relax and it calms the mind.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Arrowhead. I’ve been coming on and off for 5+ years and Dr. K always gets me set right. I love that it’s a female chiro because you need to be at ease and comfort if the adjustment is going to work right. No hassle, no waits, the staff is always welcoming and remembers me even after being away for a year or more. I’ll never go anywhere else if I can help it. I can’t say enough good stuff about them!!

Questions about workplace injury care

What should I do after a workplace injury for Work Injury Treatment?

Report injury and seek an evaluation when workplace pain, stiffness, or movement limits begin. Arrowhead Clinic Chiropractor McDonough reviews your symptoms, health history, and injury details before discussing care.

Bring available workers' compensation records and describe the work task involved. Seek urgent medical care for severe weakness, major trauma, or loss of bladder or bowel control.

Which symptoms should I mention during the first visit?

Symptoms such as numbness, weakness, radiating pain, headaches, and movement limits should be mentioned during the first visit. These details help the team understand the injury and decide what the exam should cover.

Also describe when symptoms started, what makes them worse, and whether they affect sleep or work tasks. Clear details support a more useful care discussion.

How does the first workplace injury appointment work?

The first appointment starts with an intake and health history, followed by an exam and discussion of findings.

  • Describe the workplace event and current symptoms.
  • Complete the health history and movement review.
  • Discuss X-rays if clinically indicated.
  • Review the report of findings and care options.

Our team explains the proposed plan before treatment begins.

What changes the cost of care for a workplace injury?

The evaluation needs, affected body areas, and recommended care plan influence the cost of workplace injury care. We offer free estimates and explain the expected services before you choose a plan.

Workers' compensation paperwork may also affect how the visit is handled. Bring available claim information so the team can discuss the next step clearly.

When should workplace pain receive urgent medical attention?

Workplace pain needs urgent medical attention when it follows major trauma or includes severe weakness, loss of bladder or bowel control, or trouble breathing.

Routine chiropractic care may fit other injury-related symptoms after an evaluation. Tell the team about all symptoms, even when they seem unrelated, because the full pattern helps guide the safest recommendation.

Why should I bring workers' compensation documents?

Workers' compensation documents help the team understand the reported injury and discuss care in the right context. They may include claim details, employer information, or records from another provider.

You can still discuss your symptoms if every document is not available. The intake focuses on what happened, what hurts, and how the injury affects movement.

Can this care address pain from repetitive work tasks?

Yes, chiropractic care may address pain linked to repetitive work tasks after an evaluation. The team reviews the task, symptom pattern, movement limits, and health history before discussing treatment.

Results vary, and individual response differs. Tell the team which work motions increase pain, such as lifting, reaching, turning, or prolonged sitting.
