Work Injury Treatment in Riverdale and the progress decision

Work injury care is for people whose pain or movement limits affect work tasks, lifting, sitting, walking, or other daily demands. The first visit helps connect your symptoms with the way your body moves.

The key decision is whether your care plan is helping you move and function better. We track findings such as strength, pain levels, and work-related limits, then use those findings to guide the next step.

This page focuses on progress monitoring. It helps you understand what we check during care and what to discuss before accepting a treatment plan. Individual response differs, so your plan follows your findings rather than a fixed promise.

  • Bring a clear account of when the injury happened and which work tasks cause trouble.
  • Note changes in pain, movement, strength, and daily function between visits.
  • Ask how each treatment step connects with your work demands and functional goals.

What to confirm before starting care

Ask how progress is checked

Progress checks should connect symptoms with movement, strength, and daily function. We explain what we are reviewing and how those findings shape the next step.

Review the treatment plan

A personalized treatment plan should match your injury concerns and work demands. We discuss the plan in plain language so you can make an informed decision.

Know when this care is not enough

Chiropractic care is not the right sole service for every injury. Severe symptoms or concerns outside our scope need medical assessment from the appropriate healthcare provider.

Edit: still first class treatment each visit! Love that my wellbeing is so important to y’all! Edit: Have been multiple times now and the service is as good as the first time! Great customer service. Great atmosphere. I was greeted immediately upon arrival. The young lady at the front (Catherine) was very professional. When I was taken back by was helped by another young lady, Courtney, and seen by Dr Keating took time to find out what was hurting and did an amazing job helping to fix it. I felt that everyone there treated it as more than “just a job” and treated the patients as more than just a number.

Questions about work injury care and progress

At the outset of the job, how is progress monitored during work injury treatment to keep the work on track?

Range of motion checks, strength testing, pain levels, and functional goals show how care is progressing. Arrowhead Clinic Chiropractor McDonough reviews these findings during care and explains what they mean for your work duties. Your response guides the next discussion, and results vary between people.

What should I bring to my first injury evaluation for Work Injury Treatment?

Your injury history and work-task details are the most useful starting information. Bring any records you already have, along with notes about pain, movement limits, and duties that feel harder. You do not need an attorney before discussing care. Our team can explain what the evaluation covers.

Which work injuries can your chiropractic team address?

Our chiropractic team addresses workers’ compensation injuries, back pain, neck pain, whiplash, and other accident-related concerns. The first evaluation determines whether chiropractic care fits your symptoms and goals. Severe or unrelated medical concerns may require another healthcare service, so we explain that limit clearly.

When should I ask about a change in my treatment plan?

Ask about a plan change when pain, movement, strength, or work function changes in a way you do not understand. Bring the specific task or symptom to the visit. The care discussion can then focus on current findings, your functional goals, and whether the next step still fits your needs.

Why do functional goals matter after a workplace injury?

Functional goals connect treatment with the work and daily tasks you need to manage. A pain score alone does not describe lifting, sitting, walking, or other demands. We use your goals to give the exam practical context and to explain what progress means for your situation.

How do I ask about the cost before care starts?

A free consultation lets you discuss your injury, evaluation needs, and possible care before making a decision. The cost depends on the services discussed after the assessment. We explain the plan and provide free estimates, so you can review the expected scope before proceeding.

What if my workplace injury also needs medical care?

A workplace injury that raises serious or unfamiliar medical concerns needs appropriate medical assessment. Tell us about those concerns during the intake and evaluation. We focus our care on chiropractic findings and explain when another healthcare provider should address an issue outside that scope.
