Myofascial Release Therapy in Forest Park, Georgia for Tender Soft Tissue

Myofascial release therapy focuses on fascia, the connective tissue around muscles and other structures. We use hands-on pressure to assess tender points and areas that feel tight during movement.

This service may fit people recovering from car accidents, whiplash, sports injuries, slip-and-fall injuries, or workplace injuries. The main decision is whether soft tissue work matches your symptoms and examination findings.

Our team also considers whether chiropractic care, spinal adjustment, or another treatment approach belongs in the plan. A free consultation gives you a chance to discuss the concern before choosing care.

  • Describe where the pain or tightness began.
  • Note which movements bring on tenderness.
  • Share any accident, work, or sports injury details.
  • Ask how soft tissue work fits the care plan.

How We Provide Myofascial Release Therapy

1

Review the injury history

We discuss when the pain began, what movements bring it on, and whether an accident or work injury caused it.

2

Check movement and tender tissue

Our team observes movement and checks soft tissue for areas that feel tight, sensitive, or sore.

3

Apply gradual pressure

We use controlled hands-on pressure and ask how the area feels as treatment progresses.

4

Explain the care plan

We explain the findings and discuss how soft tissue therapy may fit with chiropractic care.

When this service is the right fit

A Forest Park patient with neck tightness after a car accident may ask whether tenderness is expected during soft tissue care. We review the injury history, check movement, and explain whether gradual pressure fits the findings before treatment.

How We Approach Myofascial Release Therapy

Pressure matched to your symptoms

We use gradual pressure and ask about your comfort as we work. Sharp pain, numbness, or symptoms that spread can signal that this service is not the right fit.

Tender points checked with movement

Movement checks help us compare how an area feels before and after hands-on care. Customers get an explanation of what we found.

Care linked to the injury

Car accident injuries, whiplash, and sports injuries can involve more than one painful area. Our team builds the discussion around your history and current symptoms.

Soft Tissue Care and Spinal Adjustment

These services address different parts of movement and pain, so the exam helps determine which approach fits.

Edit: still first class treatment each visit! Love that my wellbeing is so important to y’all! Edit: Have been multiple times now and the service is as good as the first time! Great customer service. Great atmosphere. I was greeted immediately upon arrival. The young lady at the front (Catherine) was very professional. When I was taken back by was helped by another young lady, Courtney, and seen by Dr Keating took time to find out what was hurting and did an amazing job helping to fix it. I felt that everyone there treated it as more than “just a job” and treated the patients as more than just a number.

Questions About Myofascial Release Therapy

How do I know if soft tissue work fits my injury?

Soft tissue work fits when the exam links your symptoms with tight or tender tissue. We review your health history, check movement, and palpate the affected area. Customers with severe or unexplained symptoms may need a different evaluation first. Our team explains the reason for the recommended approach.

What should I do before my first visit?

Your injury history and symptom details help us prepare for the first visit. Bring information about when the pain began, the activity that caused it, and any care you have already received. Wear clothing that permits comfortable movement. You don't need an attorney before discussing personal injury care.

Which details should I confirm before treatment?

The care plan, areas treated, pressure used, and expected sensations are key details to confirm. Ask how the exam supports soft tissue therapy and when to report discomfort. Our team gives clear treatment explanations before care begins. That discussion helps you make an informed choice.

Why might tender points feel sore during care?

Tender points may feel sore because sensitive tissue responds to direct pressure. Our team uses gradual pressure and checks your comfort throughout the session. Soreness should not be confused with sharp or spreading pain. Tell us about any unusual sensation so we can reassess the area.

How does a free consultation help with this service?

A free consultation lets you discuss symptoms and treatment needs before choosing care. We ask about accidents, work injuries, sports injuries, and daily pain. The conversation helps identify whether an exam and soft tissue plan make sense. It also gives you a chance to ask about available chiropractic care.
