About

What sciatic nerve care covers

Sciatica treatment focuses on symptoms that travel from the lower back into the hip, buttock, or leg. Our evaluation considers pain, tingling, numbness, weakness, movement, and your injury history. The first visit includes a new patient intake, health history, and physical assessment. X-rays may be considered when clinically indicated. We then explain the report of findings and discuss a personalized treatment plan. Our care may include chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapy, or other methods that fit your condition. Individual response differs, so we review progress and adjust care when needed. Severe weakness or changes in bladder or bowel control require prompt medical attention.

What Sciatica Treatment Covers

Sciatica treatment is a chiropractic care service that assesses lower-back and leg symptoms linked to sciatic nerve irritation.

  • It differs from general wellness care because it requires a focused review of nerve symptoms, movement, and related back pain.
  • Care in McDonough follows the same clinical scope as our injury and pain services, with options explained before treatment.

Have been a patient for 2 years. Though I have not fully recovered to my normal self (due to back to back episodes). I absolutely love this place. Staff is super friendly, office is always clean and Dr K (partnered Doctors and nurses as well) are always welcoming and patient. There are times when I am unable to make my appointment and they will squeeze me in asap. My Children loved it also (the roller tables were +their favorite part...lol...they do feel nice). So if you are reading this review. Don't hesitate on going to this location. It is truly worth it and you will be in good hands... trust!!!!

Questions about sciatic nerve care

Who provides sciatica treatment in McDonough?

Arrowhead Clinic Chiropractor McDonough provides chiropractic care for sciatica, back pain, and related injury symptoms. Our team begins with a health history and examination. We discuss your symptoms, movement limits, and goals before treatment. The office also provides care for auto, workplace, sports, and personal injuries that affect the lower back.

What happens during the first sciatica evaluation?

The first evaluation reviews your symptoms, health history, movement, and injury details. We ask where pain travels and whether numbness, tingling, or weakness appears. X-rays may be considered when clinically indicated. After the assessment, we explain the report of findings and discuss whether a personalized chiropractic plan fits your needs.

What changes the cost of sciatica care?

The cost depends on the evaluation, recommended care, and details of your condition. Your symptoms, injury history, imaging needs, and care plan can affect the total. We explain care options before treatment and offer free estimates. A free consultation gives you a chance to discuss your needs before deciding on care.

Should I see a chiropractor or an orthopedic doctor for sciatica?

Chiropractic care may fit people seeking a non-surgical assessment of back and leg symptoms. Severe weakness, loss of bladder or bowel control, or numbness in the groin area requires prompt medical attention. We evaluate symptoms and explain whether our care fits. Your condition and warning signs should guide the next step.

What is the worst thing to do when sciatica starts?

Ignoring worsening weakness or major changes in bladder or bowel control is unsafe. These warning signs need prompt medical attention. For less severe symptoms, keep track of pain, numbness, and movement changes instead of guessing at the cause. We can review your history and explain care options during a consultation.

Do I need an attorney before starting care after an accident?

You don't need an attorney before discussing chiropractic care with us. Bring the accident details, symptom history, and any records you have. We provide care for auto, workplace, sports, and personal injuries. Our team explains the evaluation and treatment options, so you can decide what fits your health needs.
