Spinal Decompression Therapy in Lovejoy, Georgia for Disc and Nerve Symptoms

This service is for people who want a careful review of back or leg symptoms before choosing care. A health history and exam help us assess whether spinal decompression therapy fits the condition being discussed.

The key decision is suitability, not a promise of a certain result. A herniated disc, bulging disc, or sciatica pain may call for a different approach based on the exam. We explain the findings and set out the next step in a personalized treatment plan.

  • Bring any available health records or accident details to the new patient intake.
  • Describe where pain travels, including the back, hip, leg, or foot.
  • Ask how the exam findings affect the recommended care plan.
  • Tell the team about recent injuries, work demands, and past treatment.

Service Overview

Spinal decompression therapy is a non-surgical care method that uses controlled table movement to reduce pressure through the spine.

  • It differs from manual adjusting because the table guides a measured traction motion instead of relying only on a hands-on adjustment.
  • Our team provides this care for people in Lovejoy through the McDonough clinic and serves communities throughout Georgia and South Carolina.
Process

How we provide spinal decompression care

1

Record the health history

The new patient intake covers symptoms, past injuries, current care, and relevant health details.

2

Examine the affected areas

We assess the spine and related movement concerns, with X-rays if clinically indicated.

3

Explain the findings

The report of findings connects the exam to your symptoms and outlines suitable care options.

4

Set the care plan

If table-based decompression fits, we discuss the method and create a personalized treatment plan.

5

Review your progress

A progress re-examination helps us discuss how care is going and whether the plan needs review.

Why customers choose this approach for disc-related symptoms

Exam-LED treatment choice

The first decision is whether the symptoms fit this method. We review the health history and exam before recommending care, so the plan reflects the person rather than a preset routine.

Clear explanation of table care

A spinal decompression table uses controlled movement while you receive an explanation of what the session addresses. You can ask questions before agreeing to the plan.

Broader injury context

Accident injuries, workers’ compensation injuries, and sports injuries can involve more than one symptom. Our team records the concern and discusses related chiropractic care when it fits.

A useful limit

This service is not the right job for every symptom. New weakness, severe numbness, or other urgent warning signs need prompt medical assessment before routine chiropractic care.

What this care may change for back and leg symptoms

Controlled table movement gives the care plan a focused way to address spinal pressure concerns.

A clear exam helps you understand whether this approach matches your symptoms.

Plain explanations make it easier to compare spinal decompression with hands-on chiropractic care.

Personalized planning keeps the selected method tied to your health history and exam findings.

People with accident injuries can discuss related neck pain, back pain, or whiplash during the same intake.

The staff here is beyond amazing. I love the freedom I have had from the beginning of my treatments to pace myself with whatever exercises I wanted to do on my own. It feels good to have been in a no pressure zone and to completely have my injuries cured by the end of my treatment. It’s bittersweet to be finishing up my treatments today. Everybody makes you feel like family instead of a number. The fact that they can remember each patient by name is so amazing to me. I loved it here☺️

Have been a patient for 2 years. Though I have not fully recovered to my normal self (due to back to back episodes). I absolutely love this place. Staff is super friendly, office is always clean and Dr K (partnered Doctors and nurses as well) are always welcoming and patient. There are times when I am unable to make my appointment and they will squeeze me in asap. My Children loved it also (the roller tables were +their favorite part...lol...they do feel nice). So if you are reading this review. Don't hesitate on going to this location. It is truly worth it and you will be in good hands... trust!!!!

Questions about spinal decompression care

From initial intake onward, what conditions may benefit from spinal decompression therapy when setting up the service plan?

Spinal stenosis, herniated discs, bulging discs, and sciatica pain may benefit after a clinical exam. The care team reviews your health history, symptom pattern, and exam findings before recommending this method. Results vary, so the plan focuses on fit and safe next steps. New weakness or severe numbness needs prompt medical attention before routine care.

Who provides spinal decompression therapy for Lovejoy patients?

Arrowhead Clinic Chiropractor McDonough provides spinal decompression therapy through its McDonough clinic. Our team also provides chiropractic care for accident injuries, pain management, and personal injury recovery. You can discuss symptoms, treatment needs, and available options by phone. Auto accident injury victims can ask about a free consultation and same-day treatment.

How does the first evaluation affect treatment choice?

The first evaluation determines whether the symptoms fit table-based decompression care. The intake records your health history, while the exam checks the spine and related movement concerns. We explain the findings before setting a personalized care plan. X-rays may be considered when clinically indicated, but the exam remains central to the discussion.

What should I bring before starting this care?

Health records and accident details can help the team understand your symptoms, but you don’t need an attorney to discuss care. Bring medication information, prior imaging, and notes about when the pain began if available. The intake also covers work injuries, sports injuries, and other events that may affect the plan.

Which symptoms need medical attention before routine care?

New weakness, severe numbness, or a sudden loss of normal function needs prompt medical assessment. Back or leg pain can have different causes, so the intake should include every major symptom. Our team can explain chiropractic options after the appropriate evaluation. Do not delay urgent care while waiting to discuss a routine treatment plan.

Why might hands-on adjusting be discussed with table care?

Hands-on adjusting and table-based decompression use different methods, so the exam helps determine what fits. A spinal decompression table guides controlled movement, while diversified technique uses hands-on adjustment. Our team explains the role of each approach when it is relevant. The plan should match your symptoms, health history, and treatment goals.

What changes the cost of care for disc symptoms?

The recommended services and the condition being addressed are the main cost considerations. An intake and exam help define what care is appropriate, while added services may change the estimate. Free estimates are available. Ask our team to explain what the estimate includes before you agree to a personalized plan.
