Spinal decompression therapy is a non-surgical chiropractic approach that applies controlled unloading to the spine.

Spinal decompression therapy uses controlled pulling forces to reduce load through selected areas of the spine. The goal is to create a treatment setting that may help some people manage pain and movement limits. The service starts with a new patient intake, health history, and exam. We discuss symptoms such as back pain, sciatica, and pain after an accident. X-rays may be considered when clinically indicated. This care isn't right for every patient or every condition. Individual response differs, so we explain the expected process and other care options before treatment. Our view is simple: a clear fit matters more than adding a treatment to your plan without a reason.
We start with a new patient intake that records your symptoms, past injuries, health history, and treatment goals.
We perform an exam and consider X-rays when clinically indicated. This step helps us decide whether guided spinal unloading fits your needs.
We explain the recommended care, what you can expect, and the factors that shape the estimate. Free estimates are available before treatment.
If the service fits your needs, we use the appropriate chiropractic setup and review how your body responds during care.
We discuss symptom changes and movement concerns as care continues. The plan can be reviewed when your condition or goals change.
Bring details that help us understand your symptoms and choose the right starting point.
We tailor spinal decompression care plans to each patient's symptoms, goals, health history, and response to treatment.
We explain spinal decompression options, expected steps, and the estimate before treatment begins.
We evaluate back pain, sciatica, whiplash, and related symptoms before discussing whether spinal decompression fits.
The staff here is beyond amazing. I love the freedom I have had from the beginning of my treatments to pace myself with whatever exercises I wanted to do on my own. It feels good to have been in a no pressure zone and to completely have my injuries cured by the end of my treatment. It’s bittersweet to be finishing up my treatments today. Everybody makes you feel like family instead of a number. The fact that they can remember each patient by name is so amazing to me. I loved it here☺️
Have been a patient for 2 years. Though I have not fully recovered to my normal self (due to back to back episodes). I absolutely love this place. Staff is super friendly, office is always clean and Dr K (partnered Doctors and nurses as well) are always welcoming and patient. There are times when I am unable to make my appointment and they will squeeze me in asap. My Children loved it also (the roller tables were +their favorite part...lol...they do feel nice). So if you are reading this review. Don't hesitate on going to this location. It is truly worth it and you will be in good hands... trust!!!!
It’s always a great time at Arrowhead! Paula & Kat continuously greet me with a smile whenever I arrive for my appointments! The staff are extremely thorough and passionate about getting me to understand what my physical therapy requires of me, ensuring I feel better. Thanks always Arrowhead!
Start with a discussion of your symptoms, health history, and care goals. We'll explain the first assessment and provide a free estimate for spinal decompression therapy.

Back pain can build after sitting, lifting, or repeated movement, then affect sleep or normal tasks. The pattern matters because spinal decompression therapy doesn't fit every cause of pain. Write down what increases symptoms and bring that detail to your intake in McDonough. We can review your history, examine the affected areas, and explain suitable care options.
Pain that travels from the low back into a leg can raise questions about nerve irritation or another condition. The location, pattern, and changes with movement help guide the exam. We recommend sharing those details before treatment begins. Our team can then discuss whether guided spinal unloading fits your needs or whether another evaluation deserves attention.
A collision can leave neck or back symptoms that change over time, even when the first signs seem mild. The injury history matters when we discuss spinal decompression therapy and other chiropractic care. Bring accident details and any available records to your consultation. We provide free consultations and explain the next care option before treatment.
